All in one: BOOM & RING KIT with Music-Go-Rounds (TM) color-coordinated instruments and activities. All instruments are in C major.

We believe that manipulatives are the best tools to learn new concepts and increase retention, so we love the combination of wood and silicone and cube and spinners for both math and music.

Our kit uses movement, sound, and color to teach directionality, keyboard/staff geography, lines and spaces, note names, scales, intervals, chords and basic theory.

All you need to make full use of our silicone manipulatives, beginning with Mark Burrows' book Music-Go-Rounds: Using Manipulatives to Teach the Elements of Music.

Extend the understanding from our basic Move-to-Read kit (99436) by adding chromatic notes, key signatures, the circle of 5ths, and a glock to hear pitches, intervals, melody & harmony.  

SIng a song from the color-coded Songbook, notate it on the charts with Mini-AlphaDots and play it on the resonators. AStudents learn and hear notes and harmony as they sing and play.

Mark Burrows's fun game-oriented approach using MGR manipulatives makes concept “stick,” and empowers kids to combine the elements and compose their own music.
