- Music's My Bag (Q179)
Grand Staff Floor Kit by Mary Ann Stewart.
Movement, manipulatives, and ear training play a major role in the sequential activities that lead from pre-reading experiences to music literacy. Music’s My Bag is successful with kids from PreK to Gr. 6, with appeal to all learning styles. The Kit includes a 4' x 6' vinyl Grand Staff floor mat, 3 bean bag notes, MGR Note Names & Numbers (24 silicone dots), & storage tube.
- C Major Step Bells (1512)
A great melody instrument for learning concepts of up/down, high/ low, right/left, steps/skips, major scale, and melodic direction! The stair-step design helps kids visualize the rising/falling pitches they hear. Color code the Step Bells with erasable markers to match the MGR Note Names on the keyboard or staff floor mats. Or lay MGR Numbers on the mat and write scale degrees 1 to 8 on the Step Bells to play and hear directionality, intervals, etc. The metal keys have engraved note names, produce pleasing bell-like tones, and are permanently attached to a wooden frame. The leg folds flat for portability. 16" wide, with 2 wooden mallets.
