Ten Boomwhacker "jams" launch kids into improvisational ensemble playing. Each part has only 2 notes for easy tube manipulation, and experiments with ways to produce the sounds including Octavator Tube Caps (4208). Once a jam is mastered, supplement it with other percussion instruments or found sounds to round out the ensemble.
Mari chose not to name the pieces so your kids could suggest and vote on titles once they have learned the jam. With performance tips, free downloadable audio tracks, and a website link to color coded teaching aids. Gr. 3-6.
