These short soprano recorder duets with hand drum by Chris Judah-Lauder are appropriate for the general music classroom or an ensemble setting. In most songs one part is easier than the other, providing an appropriate challenge for the basic beginner and a more advanced player.
Parts are reproducible with a space for the student to write his/her name. The percussion part is scored lightly as an aid to help keep the piece together. Students are encouraged to work as an ensemble rather than relying on a recording to keep them together.
