The tactile and kinesthetic approach to learning rhythm and meter!

This well constructed hands-on kit helps kids visualize long and short rhythms, learn rhythmic values and relationships, and combine rhythms within different meters. Similar to Cuisenaire rods for teaching math, the rhythmic lengths of the sounds correspond to the spatial lengths of the blocks.

Student kit includes:

  • 31 painted wooden blocks of notes (whole, half, quarter, eighth, and 16th) and corresponding rests on the other side
