This well-organized method can be used with church or school groups, private students or voice classes.Book 1 is for grade 4 through adult. The introduction lines out the approach and reasoning for sight singing and how to best utilize the book. Even those who have never taught sight singing will find this sequential approach successful.
The teacher's edition contains all material found in the Vocal Edition (5997), plus detailed instructions for each lesson. The appendices are a helpful reference for music basics (time signatures, chart of notes and rests, letter names of notes, key signatures, scales, signs and symbols, how to mark a score).
