A renowned Neuroscientist returns from a conference diillusioned. He takes time off from work to reconnect with music, especially the music of New Orleans. Captivated by the voice of Una Vida, he returns again and again to hear her and realizes she is suffering from Alzheimer's, to which his mother succoumbed. He is drawn to help her in this moving story about a topic at the forefront of many lives.
