These Nigerian bells have a very distinct tone—more like a cowbell than the Togo Gonkogwe bells, which have a brighter tone.

Made from recycled metal by one man (famous in Nigeria for his gong-making expertise), each bell is forged completely by hand and therefore each has a unique tone.
